1. Discuss the disparity in educational technology advancement in schools of industrialized Fist World country (such as the U.S., England, Japan, Singapore, Australia) and a developing country, namely the Philippines.

·         The term disparity refers to inequality or unfairness, while educational technology advancement simply refers to the level and quality of technology available for students to assist in their studies. The main reason of disparity between the Industrialized First World country and still developing country like the Philippines is the technological advancement.  Then other reason is not schools especially the public schools in the Philippines have computers and access to modern technology. When it comes to the first countries and our developing country which is the Philippines, there is really a disparity when it comes to the advancement in educational technology. In the Philippines, technology is still not particularly prominent, although it plays a major role in education in other Asian countries.

2.Given the lack of resources in our rural areas in the Philippines, what media can still be used for effective learning in school?

·         We can use other visual aids like posters, charts, illustrations, pictures and drawings as a substitute for the lack resources.  The print media like news paper and magazines because they do not need the use of electricity.  You can even let the students go out of the classroom and go to the actual object.  For example, you are discussing about the parts of the leaves.  You can go to the garden of the school and discus there.

·         Technology nowadays is very demand in schools most of the teachers now, are using technologies as their partner in teaching and also for the students as partner in their learning. Technologies lessen the work of the teachers but how about those rural areas? Until now, there are some provinces especially the rural areas. As we all know using technologies nowadays are very effective for the students learning. However this is not a hindrance for the teacher and the students in their learning because even if there are no technologies involved in a classroom setting still students can learn through the use of traditional instructional materials such as the cartolina, manila papers or even textbooks they can also have the newspapers, articles, journals or even dictionaries. Using technologies are much easier and convenient but for those who belong in the rural areas they can rely on textbooks, articles or newspapers and for the teacher to be effective in his/her teaching he/she can use the cartolina or manila paper to introduce his/her topic since its aim is to teach the students and to promote learning. Because as what in Educational Technology1 said that teachers should not only depend on technologies he/she should put in mind that the technology is only a partner of his/her teaching.

3. Computer shops are pervasive around schools, but these are mainly used for playing games. game Without judging on the possibly dehumanizing effects of excessive computer game habits, how can a learner best use computer resources as they may be available in school or at home?

·         Technology help every student for their learning. In school we can see a lot of internet café that makes the work or the assignments of the students easier, but there are some students who make the technology a bane, some students used the computers for their pleasure, for playing games or worst for watching pornography. A student can best use computer resources that are available to their schools or home by downloading the websites that are necessary for their learning and it is very convenient if that certain student has a printer at home in which he/she can easily print the information and assignments that he/she needs… if a certain learner has a computer at home that certain student should look into the computer as his partner in learning, he should value the computer, and he should not abuse it.  Computers are truly just around everywhere and this are also mainly use for playing games sometimes learners gamble for it and others become violent because of what they see in their games. A learner can learn best with the use of computer resources at home or at school with discipline in exploring the internet and even in the social medias you can learn there but sometimes social media can be bad if not control. A learner must not depend always on his/her teacher on what the teacher taught them he/she should also explore it by himself. Overall discipline is the character you should consider or keep in mind in using computer, you should know your limitations and also the right and wrong thing.
